let it snow

yes, the biggest news this week in the uk has to be the weather. SNOW SNOW SNOW.
although it is ridiculous that this country cant handle the teensiest bit of extreme weather, it does mean that i get the week off. WOOOOOOOOP.
downsides? falling over multiple times. slightly embarassing but fun nevertheless.
went PROPER SLEDGING for the first time in my life, quite enjoyable. can't say i enjoy the defrosting of the feet part as much.

NOT HUNGOVER FOR ONCE.

first weekend i've stayed in FULLY.
i needed to get away from it all.
meant to be doing some artwork. but you know what? after the stressful week i've had. i think i deserve a couple days to not give a flying f***k.

Drake

Drake is what i would describe as one fine piece of Canadian male.
Thank me later, pretty damn good album.
To sum it up: he's great to look at and pretty amazing to listen to as well.
4 stars methinks.
Over is one of his best by far. I also kinda like the new rihanna track he's on. What's my name?

girl crushhhhhhh of the week.

Add Image
she is the ultimate english rose. we've all watched her mature into a 20 year old with an audrey hepburnesque beauty. even justin bieber is crushing on her:
"i'd love to take her out to dinner sometime."
in ya dreams biebs- maybe you can try after you've reached puberty yeah?

Daniel Radcliffe sings "The Elements" - The Graham Norton Show

did anyone happen to catch 'the graham norton show' last night.
the guest line up, i must say, was pretty good.
thursday night was of course the harry potter premiere. so naturally the main guest was daniel radcliffe (the bloke that plays harry potter for all you uneducated fools).
then you've got irish bad boy, colin farrel. apart from that greasy mop of hair on his head, he's pretty good looking.
some welsh comedian i've forgotten his name, but yeah he added a bit of comedy.
and last of all rihannna and her shock of red hair + a little performance at the end.
overall it was a pretty good show, some good laughs (but that's always guranteed with graham around) and amidst the promotions and the stories in the red chair, the most suprising part came when daniel radcliffe did his 'party trick'. i have only one word to describe this- CRINGE.
but we'll let him off, he is harry potter after all. ( and if there's one thing i love, it's harry potter)
and since when do they have chemistry classes at hogwarts.

ermmm.

Willow Smith - Whip My Hair

I WHIP MY HAIR BACK AND FORTH.
she's is one 10 year old with incredible talent. i love it....
too catchy for words. i could whip my hair all day and night.
daughter of will and jada pinkett smith.
sister of the new karate kid.
wow i wanna be in the smith family so BAD.

saturday night's alright.

it's that time of the week again. whether your into strictly or x factor, your sofa will most probably be occupied tonight (unless your like too cool for reality tv, then your probably getting ready to go out somewhere) but as for the rest of us losers, we are slaves the cheryl cole domination at the weekend.
personally i am more of an x factor fan than anything else, (no offence to any strictly fans)

so the theme tonight is elton john. erm, why would they dedicate a night to HIM when he slated the show only a couple of weeks ago.... "It’s become bor
ing, a***-paralysingly brain crippling"
what are they thinking?

moving onto my favourites:
1. I'll start with the obvious. One direction. what can i say? i'm a teenage girl. Obsessing over boybands is my job. And since my teen years are closing i think i should grasp the opportunity to be as immature as possible.so i would like to take this opportunity to say that someday i will marry harry styles or zayn malik. either way, i'm not too fussed.
2. Matt Cardle- i feel like his womanly voice should sound wrong on a man like him. but it's really not, he's a substantial amount of eye candy and yes he can actually sing in this unique and refreshingly weird way. love love love him. my mum's a big fan too.
3. Rebecca Ferguson- i love her cuteness, the long eyelashes, her modesty and shyness is beautiful. the scouse accent just makes her even cuter. and to top it all off she can really sing. breathtaking voice. goosebumps guranteed.
4. Aiden Grimshaw. simply becuase he is gorgeous. the quiff, the golden hair. okay so the facial expressions are kinda weird and he is most definitely socially awkward when interviewed. but who cares? when he looks that hot.

and thats all my favourites, cher kinda goes in and out. To me, Cher Lloyd is a little bit like twliglets. You dont really like them that much, but you eat them anyway, there's something addictive about them. And that is exactly how i feel about Cher if you get my drift. I loved the turn my swag on audition, and then from then onwards i kinda sort of liked her. But the rapping gets tiresome. Stay with me was amazing. But once again, her facial expressions are just plain crazy.
got nothing to much to say about katie apart from the fact that her voice is weak, she's publicity seeking, insecure. and no offence but she's not gonna win is she?
wagner- his bongo playing was pretty awesome. but it's time he went right?
and mary, sorry she can sing alright but i think one susan boyle is enough.
ohhhh i forgot paije. he is like a teddy bear with attitude. love him.

CHILDHOOD.

QUICK FIRE. what comes to mind when i think of childhood.

rich tea biscuits, videos, home-cut block fringe, velvet, innocence, the sound of music, bewitched, s club 7, barbie, paper maiché, poster paint, crayolaaaa, the tooth fairy, letters to santa, carpet time, milk, capri sun, lunch box, china dolls, polly pocket, bows, shoe lace, disney, fairy cakes...

"dont worry what people think, they dont do it very often."

rememberance week.

Beauty that hurts

Oh emma. The film may be called Harry Potter. But the superstar is most definitely Emma Watson.
As I tiredly browsed through my local newsagents this morning, squinting in the harsh glare of the early friday morning before school, i noticed a recurring figure at the front of most of the newspapers.
In fact the only newspaper that Emma Watson WASNT on was 'the independent'.
Now if that's not the height of superstardom. Then I dont know what is.
Sorry Dan. She may have less hair than you, but this beauty has stolen the spotlight.
Since we're on the subject, there have been many controversial views on Emma's newish pixie crop. When I first saw it on the cover on Grazia back in the summer my immediate was well angry. But now it's officially growing on me. Nice one Em's.

Freshhhhh.

okay so i still havent gotten the hang of this blogging thing, i'm all over the place. and regularity was never one of my strengths.
i remember i bought myself the most beautiful leather bound diary from paperchase one christmas, the clean crisp white paper screamed out to be covered in ink. I don't know if it's just me but there's something really satisfying about scraggly handwriting all over a page. Anyway i promised myself would keep a diary weekly, so by the end of it i would have a whole little black book brimming with my memories. But of course 2 years later and i have managed write about a page.
which is why this blog will be a new start for me.
and now as i'm nearing the adult years of my life, i think it's time i put some structure into my life.
almost seventeen, it's time i worked on the headless chicken side of myself.

hold my dreams in your hands....
make a wish.

but what to wish for?
what do people wish for nowadays?
sometimes I wonder what people yearn for most.
what are people thinking about the moment before blowing our the candles on their birthday cake?
in todays world, the most sought after posession is probably something superficial:
MONEY OR PERFECTION. okay so what about the rich and the beautiful? If they have everything that is worth having, what do they wish for?
....the truth is people may wish to win the lottery, or for a nose job or whatever. but really the thing we all seek is happiness. with all things comes happiness, good health, love, family, friends....
so next time you find some fairydust or you see a shooting star or if your blowing out the candles.... save yourself the trouble. and wish for happiness....

will it come true? i don't know.... but it's worth a try right?

fresh one

just another blog. i'm nothing special, 16 year year old girl. big dreams, small life. how incredibly cliché does that sound? but don't worry this isn't some sort of emotional diary like every other teenagers blog, it's more of a place to record what i'm feeling, thinking, doing, dreaming.....
do i care if you read it? no.... but if theres a possiblity i could make someone out there smile or laugh or anything really,
well then, thats an added bonus.
i do not live to make people happy. but i think life is just better when people are.
